We would like to thank Hope For The Warriors and all its supporters. We have recently been blessed by receiving one of your grants. We are stationed at Ft. Riley Army Base in Kansas, where my husband is an Engineer while I teach preschool. My husband SGT. Jason Melton was injured during his tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jason spent six months in Brooke Army Medical Center for his rehab. During this time our savings started to dwindle fast due to supporting two households. Between the traveling expenses and missing work to keep his spirits up, we were sinking fast. We are truly blessed he came home in one piece and received excellent care. We are thankful for organizations like yours to help deal with life's unexpected turns. We appreciate all you have done for us.

As of right now, it looks like I may have gotten thru the storm. Although Gustav is stalled out and circling right above me, I can pay may bills for the first time in a very long time. I get to pay my own rent. YAY!!!!! I cannot express in words the magnitude of this situation. Nor can I express the heartfelt thank you that goes out to the people like U that help out the wounded like me that seem to struggle day after day. U have made such an impact on my life and I will forever treasure U and admire the hand that U extended to me that lifted me up off the ground. Truly an answered prayer. Thank U Thank U Thank U!!!

I was introduced to Hope For The Warriors® in their earliest days. I had noticed the above and beyond attention they gave my family and me then. Now, years later, they still call and check on my family and me and they have never forgotten me.
Derek Hughes, Former Army Specialist
I am so excited and am so appreciative for the assistance that Hope For The Warriors® has provided for me because I wouldn't be able to do this without it.
Janna Stafford, Spouse Scholarship Recipient
As a wounded warrior, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hope For The Warriors® for all of the love, compassion, friendship and assistance they have provided myself and my family since I was severely wounded. I would never want to have to imagine what these past 7 ½ years without you would have been like.
GySgt Bill Rosborough, USMC (Ret.)
Hope For The Warriors® gave me a reprieve from the daily struggle that is living with a combat injury, and more than that, they showed me how much people care about us.
Cpl Robert Cauthon, USMC (Ret.)
My husband is a combat wounded veteran who was injured in 2006. We needed help relocating and finding employment for my husband and Hope For The Warriors® changed our lives dramatically. They have gone over and above expectations and have assisted my husband and I in every way imaginable from getting interviews to renting a POD to move. They are angels to us.
Shirley Claude, Spouse
There is no organization that has done more for me and helped me get outside and enjoy, not only the outdoors, but life again.
SFC Robert Montez, USA (Ret.)
Hope For The Warriors® was there for me and my family after I was wounded in Iraq. They are more than a helping hand, they are family. As a board member now, I have seen the organization never lose sight of its mission and vision. I not only trust them with financial donations, but with the lives of our service members and their families!
Capt Dan Moran, USMC (Ret.) and Board of Directors Member
